Camping in the west of Thailand
The west of Thailand is characterized by a range of mountains that marks the western border. I would have to say that for me, there is one outstanding national park in this area, and that is Kaeng Krachan, which has to get my vote as the most beautiful national park in the country, and gets an extra star for being located less than 3 hours drive from the smoke, and gets a special commendation for the fact that most people prefer Khao Yai.
There are surely other wonderful national parks in the west, but unfortunately, I know little about Khao Laem, Sai Yok and Sri Nakharin Dam though I have visited all of them, but never camped there. Please post if you can enlighten us!! (CRY FOR HELP!)
